When does the CPSIA current stay of enforcement end?

The CPSC voted to extend the stay of enforcement on third party testing. This stay of enforcement will end December 31, 2011.

Where can I find a list of non-compliant products?

Currently there is no list of all non-compliant products. To be truly comprehensive it would include hundreds of thousands of products since the CPSIA encompasses any product for children under 12.
The CPSC, however, does maintain a recall list where you will be able to find products about which the CPSC is aware .

I make keepsakes that are part of a nursery’s decor, are they affected?

If your product is not intended for children under 12 then you are not affected by the CPSIA as it is not considered a “children’s product” by the CPSC. To learn more about how the CPSC defines a children’s product refer to their website by clicking here.
